This Privacy Policy informs you about which personal data is processed when you visit and use my website, for what purposes this takes place, and what rights you have.

3. Visiting My Website

When you access my website, certain information may be processed as part of the technical operation of the website. This may include, in particular:

4. Hosting and Webnode

This website is operated using the Webnode website system.

As part of operating the website, personal data may be processed and stored by Webnode. Webnode states that website content is stored on servers within the European Union. Webnode's own privacy policy also applies to the use of its services.

Webnode provides, among other things, functions for contact forms and cookie consent.

5. Contact Form

If you contact me via the contact form, the data you enter there will be processed.

This may include, in particular:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Message

  • Other information provided voluntarily

The data is processed for the purpose of handling your inquiry and communicating with you.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your inquiry is related to the initiation or performance of a contract, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on my legitimate interest in handling contact inquiries.

The data will only be stored for as long as necessary to process the inquiry or as required by statutory retention obligations.

Webnode states that entries submitted via a contact form may be stored within the Webnode system and forwarded to the email address configured for the form.

6. Blog Comments

My website provides the possibility to comment on blog posts.

If you leave a comment, the data you enter and the content of your comment will be processed and may be displayed publicly on the website.

Please note that any information you voluntarily publish in a public comment may be visible to other website visitors.

I reserve the right to delete comments that contain unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, promotional, or otherwise impermissible content.

The processing takes place for the purpose of providing and managing the comment function and maintaining a safe and orderly blog operation.

7. Newsletter

If you subscribe to my newsletter, your email address will be processed for the purpose of sending the newsletter.

Subscription is generally based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. You can do so, in particular, by using the unsubscribe option included in every newsletter or by sending a corresponding message to shaman-morsuk@gmail.com.

After unsubscribing, your email address will be removed from the newsletter mailing list unless there are legal reasons for further storage.

Note: If an external newsletter service is used to send the newsletter, that service must be expressly named in this Privacy Policy. This includes providers such as Mailchimp or similar newsletter platforms. Webnode itself points out that external services may also be used for newsletters.

8. Instagram

My website contains a connection to Instagram.

If Instagram content, buttons, profiles, or other Instagram functions are integrated into my website, a connection to servers operated by Meta or Instagram may be established when these functions are used.

In doing so, technical information such as IP address, browser information, and information about the use of the respective content may be processed.

The processing may be based, in particular, on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, insofar as such consent is required for the respective integration.

If you do not want data to be transmitted to Instagram/Meta through the integration of Instagram, you can refrain from using the relevant content or adjust your cookie settings accordingly.
